ABCs of Indian Scams/Scandals

Whatever the meaning of the scam or Scandal for me it is deceiving and not delivering the promise. Every day I am reading some kind of scams and it is everywhere now. Time is a great healer. Corruptions come and corruptions goes. They don't get solved instead just get resolved.

We just get used to all this and watch it like a motion picture. There is one great exception though. The poor and the un-empowered remain where they are and have been. You just can't get used to poverty! It hurts afresh every day. New wounds only tear open the old ones and keep them alive. Someday all of this seemingly frozen in history will come alive and then the perpetrators of this process shall have no place to hide! Meanwhile, we have to speak out and keep the hope alive.

Thought of listing and found this interesting ABCs list. Dont think these are the only ones but listing major ones.

Rajinikanth - The Legend

The name speaks on its own, no need of an introduction.

People who know (even very little) about Indian film industry, will know about Rajinikanth.  I am a big fan and saw all movies, including tamil version (even though I cant understand completely).

There are so many jokes around but I liked this so much as it involves two legends. With due respect to Rajinikanth and his fans I am posting one. Hope no one will get offended.

Rajinikanth was bragging to Amitabh Bachan one day, You know, I know everyone. Just name someone, anyone, and I know them. Tired of his boasting, Amitabh Bachan called his bluff, OK, Rajini how about Tom Cruise? Sure, yes, Tom and I are old friends, and I can prove it, Rajini said.

So Rajini and Amitabh Bachan fly out to Hollywood and knock on Tom Cruise’s door. Tom Cruise shouts "Thalaiva! Great to see you! You And your friends come right in and join me for lunch!"

Although impressed, Amitabh Bachan is still skeptical. After they leave Cruise’s house, he tells Rajini that he thinks Rajini knowing Cruise was Just lucky. No, no, just name anyone else, Rajini says
President Obama says Amitabh Bachan. Yes, Rajini says, I know him.

And off they go. At the White House, Obama spots Rajini on the tour and motions him, saying, : Rajini, what a surprise, I was just on my way to a meeting, but you and your friend come on in and let’s have a cup of coffee first and catch up.

Well, Amitabh Bachan is much shaken by now, but still not totally convinced. After they leave the White House grounds, he implores him to name anyone else.

The Pope,Amitabh Bachan replies 
Sure! says Rajini, My folks are from Italy and I’ve known the Pope a long time.
Rajini and Amitabh Bachan are assembled with the masses in Vatican Square when Rajini says, This will never work. I can’t catch the Pope’s eye among all these people. Tell you what, I know all the guards so let me just go upstairs and I’ll come out on the balcony with the Pope. And he disappears into the crowd headed toward the Vatican.. Sure enough, half an hour later Rajini emerges with the Pope on the balcony.

But by the time Rajini returns, he finds that Amitabh Bachan has had a heart attack and is surrounded by paramedics. Working his way to Amitabh Bachan’s side,

Rajini asks him, What happened?
Amitabh Bachan looks up and says, I was doing fine until u and the pope came out on the balcony and the Italian man next to me said, Who’s that on the balcony with RAJINI!! 

Egg White or Whole Egg

While growing we must have boiled eggs almost every day (except Saturday due to religious reasons). I use to trade yolks for white with my brother. Not sure and I do not remember about the reason I use to get lot of cold than my brother.

Now I am following my father to have eggs at all times but my daughter does not like having yolks. This led me to do some research to find out the importance and nutrition facts of the yolks.

As a whole Egg it has so many nutrition values at affordable price but I am interested in egg white and what it does not have.

Egg White does not have saturated fat (but very little fat), zero cholesterol, B12 & D vitamins are nil as well as iron too.

So avoiding yolks means you are avoiding vitamins B2, B12, D, and iron. If you're concerned about getting enough of those nutrients, a good option would be to eat at least part of  yolk out of one boiled egg. It's still low in calories, fat, and cholesterol, but you'll get some vitamins from the egg yolk.

Chanakya the great teacher

Very much familiar name if you are aware of the Indian history. He is a great pioneer in the field of Economics and political Science. Great teacher who molded a common man Chandragupta to first Indian emperor. Even though he belongs to 300BC his teachings and ideas are fresh for even current generation. Here are some quotes

• Before you start some work, always ask yourself three questions. Why am I doing it, What the results might be and Will I be successful. Only when you think deeply and find satisfactory answers to these questions, go ahead.

Something about a liar

Lying is a cooperative act. Just saw your email in spam... traffic jam... lot of work

Everyone is against lying, we are covertly for it. Some situations arise to  "I'd rather be told an UGLY TRUTH than a PRETTY LIE"

Lie has no power in whatever means it is. It is power emergence, make someone agrees to believe your lie. Not all lies are harmful; some do for social dignity may be to keep the secret a secret.

Some say we lie between 10 to 200 times a day. Strangers lie at least three time with in their introduction. What are you, introvert or extrovert? Wait! Extroverts lie more than introverts. Good thing is we lie more to the strangers than known. Whatever reason Married lies more than singles. People who speak or share a lot do lie more.

Lying start when we are baby. First Lying with fake cry,  one year leans for  concealment.. Two years old bluffs. Five years old lie out right and manipulate. Nine years old masters the cover-up. College goers lie one out of five interactions

Everyone is willing to give something which they are ready to give up something for whatever they are hungry for... If you do not want to get deceived you should know whatever they are hungry for. We wish for better husband/wife, fantasy life, lying is the bridge the gap to connect our wishes, what we wish and want to be.

It is easy to find lyres. There are good liar or bad liar. They all do the same mistakes. No mortal can keep a secret, if lips are silent he will chatter with finger tips or body language (speaks)

We do reward dishonesty as a culture but let us live without a lie for better world.

Female in India

India is booming economically but is India Blooming with respect to Girls?

In 1900s when the print media booming the male mentality is 'chaste women never had their photographs published in papers'

In 2011 census - females per thousand male is 940 - also called as sex ratio

Sex Ratio of India - Sex Ratio is a term used to define number of females per 1000 males. It's a great source to find the equality of males and females in a society at a given period of time.

Sex Ratio was okay till the time of Independence (1947), thereafter it has declined regularly. New century has showed up some improvements.

It has gone up from 927 in 1991 census to 933 in 2001 census of India. Some states/Unions, like Kerala (1084) & Pondicherry (1038) has gone up but so called developed states like Haryana (877) specially Chandigarh(818), Dadra and Nagar Haveli (775), Daman and Diu (618), Punjab (893) have gone down

Surprisingly Rural (946) areas are beating Urban (900). Is our education and more income is ruining the human values?

How can we change the common Indian thought 'He may prove profitable, keep him, she will prove to be a loss, kill her'.

Some say why everything finally boils down to the economics? I believe economically Independent girls can change this.

Maybe the promise of quality delivery services will change the mind like free education up to graduation, a cash deposit  at birth with the condition that it will be available to the child when she is 25 by which time, she will develop into an independent woman in her own right and able to use the now increased amount in a way that she sees most befit.

You finished a milestone of 200,000miles(321,868KM approx). Congratulations!!!

You take me around the US (west to east & north to south) and Canada without getting tired.

You became bed when I am tired

You are my best friend and talked to me when I need someone

You gave me shoulder when I am sad.

You take me to interviews, meetings, fun places. I should say without you I might not be surviving in the US

You gave me a way to find my wife. Just want to let you, She loves you too.

You made my daughter to like you. She named you 'Small Car' and wants to travel with you all the time

You don’t know what is hate(breakdowns) even though I abused you so many times

I have to appreciate you for being part of life and my life journey. You well deserve a detailed cleaning.

What are you drinking tonight... A Beer?

Looking for a good reason to convince your wife to have a beer, just show this blog to her!!!

I am not surprised with the benefits. Every businessmen pays money to lobbyists to research in their favor. Unfortunately, no one has contacted me for this blog. You might have heard, 'Got Milk', 'An apple a day..', Eat Egg', 'Bread and butter',

Some say, Wine is the best, but No Offence, I feel it is French Paradox. Beer also should get the same acclamation as it has less percentage of alcohol and more water. next day you don’t feel headaches and hangovers

I believe anything in moderate intake helps your body to get what it wants. Especially when you are getting old. Try to have not more than 350ml of beer, I repeat only beer(with respect to quantity), in a day for your good health.

Here are some advantages of beer

Heart Health - may reduce the risk of heart disease, consistently the No. 1 cause of death (moderate consumption of alcohol, including beer)

Stroke - prevents the formation of blood clots that can block arteries in the heart, neck and brain,

Hypertension - One of the cause of Heart Attack, lowers risk of fatal and non-fatal heart attacks.

Diabetes - reduce their risk of coronary heart disease - protect men and women from developing Type 2 diabetes.  Increases insulin sensitivity and/or anti-inflammatory effects.

Bones - may play a role in preventing bone loss and rebuilding bone mass. More drinking can lead to fractures

Old Generation: What kind of life you are looking for?

New Generation: AN AMERICAN SALARY, A BRITISH HOME, CHINESE FOOD, AN INDIAN WIFE

Old Generation: (Laughs at him loudly)

NewGen: What’s wrong in it?

OldGen: Still your thoughts are old.

NewGen: Why do you think so

OldGen: Let us take point by point. Please repeat one by one

NewGen: AN AMERICAN SALARY, What do you think

OldGen: My son, when I am looking for job there are 1 resume for 10 jobs. Getting and switching is easy. To keep the work force they paid a lot. Now there are 100 resumes for one job. Employers have more advantages and if they can’t find one, will outsource it to Infosys / Wipro on buy one get 2 free basis. You should be lucky to have job to pay your bills. Don’t even think about good salary.

NewGen: No Word to say

OldGen: What is your second wish?

NewGen: A BRITISH HOME

OldGen: In my days they have big houses and get work force all over the world. We use to have colonies all over the world. Now, colonies are here, divided by Pakistan and India. It is hard to find a decent size house around London now.

NewGen: (No blood on his face thinking this cannot go wrong) CHINESE FOOD

OldGen: Chinese food!! (A big laugh), what flavored Chinese you are talking about? Americanized or westernized or New York or SFO or Chicago or London or Paris. It never tastes the same. Which flavored Chinese?

NewGen: (So mad, orders a shot and scratches his head)

OldGen: (Takes a sip of drink) what is the other one

NewGen: (This time he is very confident, he can't lose this point, cleared his throat and says in high pitch) AN INDIAN WIFE

OleGen: I agree with you... but in what context you are saying, as beauty or companion

NewGen: (Got smile back in his face)For now, let us take beauty

OldGen: Ofcourse they are most beautiful. Elsewhere in the world we can say fair, average, medium beauty women. No doubt in it.  We should really say all Indian women are beautiful.

NewGen: true, I will only marry to Indian woman (proudly)

OldGen: Let me ask you one thing, what do they don’t eat before marriage and what do they eat after marriage?

NewGen: (surprisingly) What do you mean

OldGen: You know what I mean, why do they act like bloating balloon after marriage

NewGen: (no words to say and takes shot and leaves the place angrily)

 

Never under estimate experience, that too life experience ;-)

Downfall of America, is it REAL

My view on the downfall, downgrade and decline of USA economy. I am not a great economist but these are my views with my knowledge.

When did it start? 9/11 or with Republican party ruling or Democrat party ruling?

What ever it is, I feel 9/11 attack is the starting point for the downfall. First time in history, a cave-man programmed an attack on world's foremost economic, military and technology power. He proved how vulnerable the country is.

US is no different from other societies, politicians want to capture the moment for their fame and name. US has been battling several wars without any vision.

In downgrading the US to AA+, S&P’s has said that "the effectiveness, stability and predictability of American policymaking" had weakened and its confidence had reduced in America’s ability to manage its finances.

For the past few centuries America is the World's best problem solver. The back bone is its vast territory, its abundant natural resources, the spirit of the settlers (even migrated Muslim wants to live peacefully). it is that optimism which enables Americans, when faced with a problem, to throw all their resources at it; historically, to good effect. Do they still have this with the self (falsely) motivated politicians?

Can they bounce back!! take examples like scientific and technology inventions and achievements. Chances are more if they think beyond 9/11 attacks. Have to think how to prevent more attacks in in-land with their intelligence than going for one more war again.

America is not in decline but battling the slump created by unexpected situations. America has incredibly large technology and lead over other countries. Has to re-group the friendly countries (still relies on 19/20th century friends). Sell spaceships, drones Nuclear power plants to countries like India, China which can creates factory jobs. Raise the retirement age, increase the tax to rich and rich companies. An ordinary man can balance his budget but unfortunately not the politicians, Common politicians you can do much better.

Americans, no magic is going to happen, you have to Boost your self-confidence on your own. Do the right, Elect the wise to lead.

Power of a Hug

Do you really want me to answer... must be kidding...

It is so powerful and I am daring to scratch the surface of it...   generally it is a positive exchange of energy between two or more people... someone hold you in their arms and feeling their love, caring and compassion...

It has a great healing medicine to heal when you feel lonely, painful with no where to turn... lifts spirits and brings smile... of course it works in good times also... also creates connection when someone cannot express in words...

Size does not matter.. One size fits all... whether it is small or big or quick... the effect is same... and it works...

The great thing about it is..  never discriminates.. young or old... black or while.. small or big

Different styles of hugs

• The A-frame hug, in which nothing but the huggers' heads touch.
• The half-hug, where the huggers' upper bodies touch while the other half twists away.
• The chest-to-chest burp, in which the huggers pat each other on the back, defusing the physical contact by treating each other like infants being burped.
• The wallet-rub, in which two people stand side-by-side and touch hips.
• The jock-twirl, in which the hugger, who is stronger or bigger, lifts the other person off the ground and twirls him.

Take a deep breath... I am going to ask you one question..Can you please name one politician... leader... good leader of 21st century... Recently I am thinking of 'Super Power' India.. who is going to be our future leader....

We get inspired by the people... people next to us.. from history... with 'he can I can' attitude... 

History seen leaders with 'working beyond rule'...

Vallabhbhai Patel, without him India cannot be in the shape what  we know now... We heard Patel never took his salary and used to wear old shirts even after it get damaged...

Lal  Bahadur Shastri, our former Prime Minister borrowed coat/Jacket to travel to Kashmir in winter...

Feroze Gandhi, man behind nationalization of banks & organizations and whistle blower of Haridas Mundhra scandal (very fist financial fraud by Finance Minister)...

Too much to  expect someone with this much humble... but don't we deserve the best... Don't we have good taste or ability to elect good ones like our parents did...

We need a change... our future generation to appreciate... Let us work on it...

My Breakfast

Wake up my friends… It is morning… have some breakfast…  I believe morning is amazing… it is when we charge into the future… do some physical activity… blaze new trails… it is when we scale the highest peaks... and flew for very first time... Morning starts and changes everything... it is a clean slate…   a fresh start for everything... with a the breakfast that charges 100% of your body… working for your day energy... it is your time to wake up and be amazing with breakfast… does your breakfast make you amazing…  not yet, grab some thing and let us start our day… Have a great day every one.
